This session is an opportunity for participants to train as support for facilitators.
The workshop will address the creation of a healthy environment in forum theatre space.
You will discuss and practice how to create a safe space, foster participation engagement, and ensure clear communication through facilitation support.
The training is organised to equip volunteers with the requisite skills and knowledge to effectively support Forum Theatre Sessions. Central to this training is to raise awareness and explore a consensus around the principles of care, inclusivity and diversity.
You will have the opportunity to share what matters to you through 'Forum Theatre' developed by Brazilian theatre director and author Augusto Boal. The method, also known as Theatre of the Oppressed, is designed to engage audiences and participants in exploring social and political issues through interactive and immersive theatre.
Intercultural Roots invites and welcomes you to attend a FREE Volunteer Training workshop with free childcare funds allocated in case needed.
