In a world where every gesture and posture is shaped by societal norms, how often do we truly listen to the instinctual wisdom of our bodies? Based on the practices of the book How to be feral: movement practices to re-wild your body, this course invites you to explore and dismantle the deeply ingrained habits of how we move and relate to our bodies in order to reconnect with our primal, feral selves.
Over the course of 8 weeks, you'll explore various practices designed to disrupt your ingrained notions of "proper" human movement. Each week focuses on a different aspect of feral movement, challenging you to question and relax the constructed ideas you have about your body and its capabilities. By moving from within, without judgment, you’ll uncover new ways of experiencing your body, releasing its full potential.
Participants can attend the first class as a drop-in session to experience the practice. After this one-off session, you are welcome to enrol in the full course if it feels right for you. Please note drop-ins will not be possible for the following sessions.
