About

GIRIC - Growing Intercultural Roots in Communities

Module: Pedagogy - Assessment & Evaluation Approaches

“Measure Impact. Reflect. Evolve.”  “Balance artistry with accountability.”

Learn how to evidence traces of the true impact of your artistic, creative and / or cultural projects without losing the soul of your work. This module introduces, through peer to peer discussion, practical techniques for gathering qualitative feedback, documenting progress, and measuring embodied  learning journeys. With a focus on planning for and gathering naturally resulting assessment evidence, and participant-centered evaluation, you’ll explore ways to balance meaningful creative insight and process with clear, funder-friendly evidence. Ideal for facilitators and artists alike, this session will help you reflect on your work, document its evolution, and demonstrate its value in ways that honour both artistic integrity and accountability.

Key Takeaways:

  • Evaluating Creativity: Gain practical techniques to garner qualitative feedback and document artistic progress.
  • Balancing Art & Accountability: Learn methods to assess creative projects in a way that honors both the art itself and funder requirements.
  • Why Join: This module is essential for anyone needing to showcase the growth and impact of their work, ensuring that creative endeavors are both celebrated and clearly valued by society.
