Lakshmi Thiagarajan is a Bharathanatyam artist currently based in Madurai, India. She holds an MA (Honours) in Management and Philosophy from the University of St Andrews, Scotland, where she also studied Art History and the Philosophy of Art. She’s fascinated by questions surrounding the nature, meaning and purpose of art, the relationship between art and emotions, and cross-cultural perspectives on the study of aesthetics.
