About

Rose Whyman trained with the Professional Association of Alexander Teachers and is qualified to train teachers of the Alexander Technique. She is currently part of the International Alexander Technique Teacher Training (IATT) team. She teaches courses in the Alexander Technique and Performance at the University of Birmingham in the drama department and has taught performers of all kinds in other settings, including with Intercultural Roots. Her research is in the study and practice of performer training including the application of the Alexander Technique to performer training methods and she has published books and articles on Konstantin Stanislavsky. Michael Chekhov and Vsevolod Meyerhold.
