About

Betty is a Global Arts in Medicine Fellow, Artist, Illustrator, Creator, Welcomer, Listener, Palliative Care Nurse and mother. After completing her Fine Art & Health degree in 2003, she worked at the 50th Venice Bienniale. Then art became her own therapy when she became a nurse, graduating in 2010. Her work is best described as elemental, ethereal, everyday art. She wishes for her work to promote reminiscence and conversation and to tell a story and to encourage those who may not usually go to a gallery to visit one. She embraces the benefits of art in health and is a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group
 on Arts, Health & Wellbeing.
